"I was never in your..."

Ha!  Well, now we know Dean tops :D

So much about this episode that I loved.  I'm starting to feel pretty good about this show again, which makes me so very happy after the rocky, adirectional start it had for me.

Jefferson Starships!  Oh, my sides!

And... and... did they really kill mother?  Was it that easy?  I'm sort of let down by that even as I'm very excited to see what the crap is going to happen next.

Crowley!!!!  And Cas!!!  Oh, Cas.  Seriously, what?!?!  I love that he's maybe sort of definitley doing some bad shit these days, but there's a part of me that just wants him to be sweet and precious and the only angel that ever does the right thing.

What is happening?!  I LOVE IT.

But Dean being such a douche to Cas is starting to not be funny anymore.  (Heh, baby.  Okay, it's a little funny.)  Seriously, Cas keeps chasing after him like a puppy with scraps begging for affection that he's never going to get and it's been two friggin' years!  I was so proud of him when he grew a pair and kicked Dean's ass in that alley, but then two days later he was right back to 'yes, Dean' and 'whatever you say, Dean' and screwing himself and everybody else over to help Dean.  You'd think Dean could manage a 'thanks, Cas, you're an alright dude' once in a while.

They seriously have one of the most dysfunctional, abusive relationships ever.  Heh, and that's saying something, considering Dean's relationship with Sam :)  (Who, by the way, I'm loving these days.)

I'm loving it like you, bb. And yeah, Dean's a bit harsh with Cas, but c'mon - how cute is it that he calls him a baby to get a rise out of him! Of all the saucy words Dean COULD say... I think that's pretty endearing and sweet. And pouting Cas - LOVED it!
Dean and Sam as a team - that's what I loved. Eve as Mary fucking with their heads - loved that too. I'm glad they used Mary One, although, I have never quite been able to reconcile her with Mary two, who by my calculation was four years younger. Huh? Young and beautiful to well... Let's just say Mary one was a better fit for the monster than younger Mary.
Okay, Jefferson Starships. Awesome! The idea of Crowley and Cas being somehow in league... also strangely awesome.

And finally... Yes, Dean is a bit toppy with Cas, but who among us would not want a little of that from Dean? My dying wish is to get that Dean finger pointed at me grating out, 'We're not done!' Shiver. Gone with a smile on my face.

Yes. YES! Dean and Sam working together (along with Bobby and Cas, but mostly Dean and Sam) made my friggin' day. I love this Sam. I'm so happy to have him back and I'm just scared that when the wall crumbles Show is going to handle it badly. He'll get all guilty and Dean will get all mopey and I'll want to seriously hurt both of them. Why can't they just be happy, at least with each other? Why?

I actually like young Mary best, but I think they made the right choice for the mother. I think older Mary does evil really well.

GUH. Dean... finger... growly threats... *dies*

He was so awesome badass tonight, I am a happy rockstar :)

i am hearing good things about SPN again.

The whole Dean Cas get out of my .... line still has me laughing. (although I do prefer a bottom Dean just because he has such a cute booty.)

The ep was pretty awesome, I'll grant you that. I also liked Cas being very quick to point out that he was only figuratively limp... :P

And dude...What's with the complaining that Dean isn't doing right by Cas? At the moment, it looks like Cas is doing his best to be a douchebag! It would be even worse if Dean was all googly-eyed; it's gonna be bad enough as it is when his faith is shattered. 'Cause even if Cas has a good plan and it's all just a cunning ruse, Dean's still gonna be upset about the shit he's done along the way. You know that our boy's not one of those 'ends justifies the means' kind of guys...

How awesome was he with the phoenix ash?! Dude. Everyone calls Dean dumb but he pwns everything.

Sam and Dean are so cute together! Even when they're giving baby monsters a free ride out of town...(Okay, so maybe Dean's a little dumb...But, you know, at least he's not trying to hammer square blocks into round holes or anything...Hee hee.)

Love you baby!

Yeah, but if Dean was all googly-eyed then it would crush him even MORE when he finds out what a dick Cas is being, which would be all kinds of fun :) And Cas is being a dick, yeah, but he's still chasing after Dean all the damn time. He shows up whenever Dean calls, even when he's clearly got better things to do and Dean just expects it and never even says thanks. Like last week, when Cas got stabbed and he was in rough shape after he picked them up, Dean barely even glanced at him, just ordered him to do it again and then asked if Bobby was okay. It's annoying.

But yes, he was so awesome and badass! And only a little dumb :) He is so the man.

Love you too, baby! xx

*curious* What's wrong with Sam and Dean's relationship? I feel like I should get this, but the way you said abusive? Totally has me lost. :/

Well, Sam does have a history of selfishness and Dean tends to... punch Sam in the face with little provocation.

Dean did a whole bunch of stuff for Sam when they were younger (and sometimes still) that Sam either doesn't see or doesn't appreciate and these days Dean sometimes solves their arguments with his fists. They make each other miserable more than not. It's not exactly healthy.

I still love them and I'm pretty happy that they finally seem to be on track to being our sweet, precious early season boys. That's how I love them, but it's been so long since they've (we've) had that.

I couldn't agree more with everything you said :D

and with the prospect of the emotional roller coaster of next week's ep I cling mostly to this >> Ha! Well, now we know Dean tops :D XDD

Hurr hurr hurr... "Cas, get out of my ass!" "I was never in your..." Love how he stops before saying the actual word.

Yeah, seems like SPN is GOING somewhere again! But can I get a Gabriel up in hurr?

Heee! Cas is so cute!!!

Yeah, I miss Gabriel. It would be nice to get him back.

Jefferson Starships made me crack up! And Sam just going with it! "Fine, why are all the Starships dead?" xD

And YES, Dean tops! Was there every any doubt to begin with, people? ;)
Dunno about Cas and Crowley working with each other, though. I mean, I love Crowley! He´s awsome. But still, made me feel a little on edge...

SPN, you are starting to get back on track :)

posted by [identity profile] rockstarpeach.livejournal.com at 06:05pm on 30/04/2011
I know! Sam all trying to come up with another name for them and then being all 'fuck it, fine, starships'. Win!!!

Heh, of course Dean tops. But now we have confirmation :)

I am so freakin' excited about Cas and Crowley. Seriously. I'm so excited I'm on the verge of shipping them because that alliance could be made of so much win. Cas, feeling all guilty about working with a demon, Crowley loving how horrible Cas feels about himself and pushing and pushing until Cas breaks... Good times, good times.

It's nice to really love the show again, isn't it?

In a season of mostly terrific shows this one had so much going for it.

The trademark humor, "get out of my ass" "Jefferson Starships" that one almost made me piss my pants, the looks on Cas face when Dean called him a baby in a trenchcoat.

Enough blood and guts to remind us that hunting is a dirty job but someone has to do it.

Dean angst because what episode would be complete without a little or sometimes a lot of angsty Dean. Having to have a conversation with Eve while she looked like Mom, I mean who thinks of all the different ways they can make Dean into more of an emotional cripple.

And of course lets not forget about the big reveal at the end. Cant wait to find out exactly what it is that Cas and Crowley are doing together, and of course I mean that in the most innocent way, no shipping here.

I smiled so damn much! Damn, I still crack up when I think 'Jefferson Starship' :)

Oh, yes. It must have hurt so much when Mother appeared as Mary. Just like in Heaven, when Zach made them see her and she was hating on Dean. Shit, that poor, poor bastard.

Dude, come on. You know you're shipping Cas/Crowley just a little ;)

Sam's attitude these days is amazinggggg. When I have too much time on my hands and I'm hit with a sadistic urge I'll watch heartwarming and brotherly Sam/Dean scenes post-6X11 and then one from the worst of our time with soulless Sam/Dean only to laugh at how... just... every episode up to 6X11 was SO MISERABLE FOR DEAN. Especially the one where he's working with the damn Campbells and they make him stay in the back and watch for stragglers ahhhahhahaha it's like Dean, what is your life, wtf are you doing. Even compared to the crushing depression of seasons 4 and 5, it's still really effing sad. Thank god it seems like it at least gave him some lucidity where Sam's concerned.

And mmmmmm, if the show carries out the Cas-is-ignored/unappreciated thread that has been referenced a few times this season, I suspect that his naughty deeds might be some kind of catalyst for Dean (and Sam) to become more ~involved~ with Cas, specifically the crap going on in his realm. ...However, that scenario sounds like a far too healthy path for SPN. Though maybe Bobby's ep was some kind of head-out-of-ass foreshadowing?! Ahhhhh probably not :|

I mostly really disliked the first half of this season. Yes, it was all miserable for Dean, which normally I'm all for, but I was mostly left just irritated with both the plot and the writing.

I hated those Campbell sons of bitches and the way they treated Dean. Not cool, man. And then what did they do when they realised that the Campbells had no point to being there other than making fun of Dean (who turned out to be awesomer than them all put together)? Killed them off. I just... There was pretty much no point to the entire first half of the season except for Sam to run around being a douche. Which was only cute less than half the time.

I like Sam so much better when he's all soulful and emo :)

Well, next week they find out what Cas has been up to, so here's hoping it's as good as I expect! I bet Dean cries. Oh, man, I hope Dean cries :)

Yes, 'bleak' probably best describes the vast majority of the first half of the season. And when their prickly mocking didn't die off after the initial meeting it was like "Hold on. Have you not seen this man's resume?" and that made Dean's tolerance of the situation even more sad. But yeah, as a whole they kind of emphasized that device-y feel of soulless douchey Sam (however, maybe not so much now that there are all these soul tie-in hints being dropped, but still, it did not require 11 drifting and drab episodes of attention)

CRAP crying Dean hadn't even occurred to me. lollll now I'm going to be so disappointed if he doesn't. But he totally will. And if not this next ep, definitely before the end of the season. The question is not if there will be tears, but how many >:)

For the first time in awhile, my household viewing rewound during a commercial break and rewatched not one but TWO scenes - "I was never in your..." the look on both their faces when they say those lines. lol And then, "Well, now it just looks like you're pooping..." that whole exchange, Cas was so adorable all confused right there.
