Seriously.  'Got Wood?  Catch VD!' does NOT make me want to watch your show.

The show is good for what it is...a teenage soap opera with vampires...it's my guilty pleasure.

But I totally agree with you on the ad campaign...it's tacky and dirty (and not in the good way) and especially since the show is marketed for teenagers it's just WRONG.

I would so stay away from anything that says Cath VD. I guess the creators had their head up their asses when they thought this one up.

BTW finally started season 5 of SPN, I know I am so far behind but I am so loving it right now.

I was surfing around last week and came across some forum where people were bitching about SPN being delayed a week, and they were all commenting with stuff about VD and I feel like a complete moron because it seriously took me reading a dozen or so comments before I realised they were talking about Vampire Diares and not venereal disease.

I kept thinking 'what the fuck is wrong with all these people?'. Heh.

I laughed when I saw that. I have no real idea what Vampire Diaries is besides the name and I was like 'Who are these douches!?!?'
