Pairing: Dean/Cas, Other characters include Sam, Adam, Christian, Anna, Gabriel. Brief Tessa, Nick and mention of Kali.

Summary:AU. Dean Winchester is in a rock band and Castiel is a fan. Not of the music, of Dean. An opportunity presents itself one night after a concert and Castiel can't pass up the chance of a lifetime. It's not perfect, but this is their story.

Oh jesus. This was a wonderful fic. It's like 4 am and I just marathon read this and I'm hardly coherent enough to be attempting a review, but I'm telling you without a doubt that this is now one of my favorite Destiel stories ever. The rawness you wrote Cas and Dean into was amazing (read: heart-crushingly painful) to experience, but I enjoyed every second of it, masochist that I am. You have a real skill with knowing just how many details to include, or when to pull back and let the scene tell itself through Cas and Dean's physical interactions. I was literally gobsmacked at times by single sentences packed with the implications you foreshadowed throughout the entire fic (as well as the way Dean would keep stopping himself when he's about to say something tender. That was impeccably subtle characterization.)

Thanks for writing this. Now I've got to slink away to wipe the tears off my face and get some sleep.
