I am sad not to have more of this to read, but I like the way you ended it. Each of them has doubts, but they are excited and hopeful for their future together. A lovely mixture of romance and realism.

I'm glad it didn't come across too 'happily ever after'. I don't think Spike could have really changed so much in such a short time, so I wanted to keep a lot of his imperfections.
