I'm not sure how OK I am with it yet lol. First, I wanted Sam to have to ASK Crowley to save him. But I guess the important thing is, Dean's alive (not that there was ever any doubt about that lol). And I'm all for seeing Dean play a Crowley-type demon for a while, but will it be another half-season or more of the brothers on opposite sides? I don't know that I'm up for another season of that :(

ETA: I forgot to mention that I am SO with you on the WTF? when it comes to Sam calling Gadreel one of Dean's real friends. Oh, and WAY too much Metatron for me, especially since I didn't get the payoff of seeing him die at the end.

Don't get me wrong - I'll be thrilled if they do get it together and admit their ~~epic incestuous love~~ fucked up brotherly co-dependence, but I've been wanting that for years and have been nothing but let down, time after time. I like the show much, much less than I used to, because of that. So at this point, I'm not holding my breath.

Considering that Carver said he wanted a 'more mature and realistic relationship' between them, I'm guessing the fucked-up brotherly co-dependence is off the table altogether. I, too, like the show much less than I used to, for the same reasons. If I want to watch a 'mature realistic brotherly relationship', I'll call my brother.

But you're amping me up for some sexy badass Dean in Season 10. Maybe I have something to look forward to after all! But with my luck, Sam will 'cure' him first ep and the rest of the season will be spent with Dean trying to redeem himself for taking the mark in the first place. The only reason we started watching is for the psychotic, irrational, erotic co-dependence! Take that away and we've got nothing left but a second-rate show on a crappy network. Which I'm fine with, as long as Dean and Sam love each other to destruction :)

I do think Dean needs to redeem himself. I'd really like to see that, actually, but I also hope that's not what all of next season is about. I want him to borderline evil and badass for a while, first. Then Sam can cure him and Dean can work on redemption. But sexy badassery first. Priorities, people!

Crowley is being creepy and I'm loving it! And I'm so excited to see Dean as a demon.

Swan Song would have been a great finale, if not for the last ten seconds or so. Sam coming back at the end makes it probably one of the worst, for me.

In fact, I like to think of the last four years as a bad hell-dream, and the series really ended with Sam in the pit with Lucifer and Michael and Adam, and Dean living miserably ever after knowing he helped send his brother to Hell :)

Best finale in a very long time, It was great to see that connection between the boys again, and badass Dean is always a delight. So yep, bring on Season 10, I was loosing faith in the show, but now I feel re-invigorated.

It is bad for him to do that, but that is the desperation between the two brothers isn't it? When it comes down to it, those two just cannot bare to be parted - and that is the reason we love the show. It has always been about these two brothers and the things they would do for one another and at last we have it back! Its not going to be plain sailing for any of them, and Sam is going to freak, (plus I do think that Crowley has had a thing for Dean for quite a while, and at last he has him). But yes, bring it on, let the good times roll.

I think that Crowley respects Dean, even though they have mostly been enemies up to this point, so yes I should imagine Crowley is very pleased with himself right now. It will be very interesting where they take things in S10, Crowley has his own ultimate demon, with all the skills of a hunter and Sam is going to stop at nothing to get his brother back. Seriously friggin' awesome! That Dean was going to become a demon was always a possibility with Crowley involved, but I still didn't see it coming. I expected Sam to pray to Cas and for him to find his grace and heal Dean, which I think would have been a cop-out so I'm pleased at how it ended - except Smugatron should be dead!!Yep, best finale since S3 and S5. And demon!Dean is sooooo sexy!

Heh, I'm so totally kidding. Demon!Dean is even fucking hotter than MoC!Dean was!!!!!!!! I was SO totally thrilled by the ending.

Which is good, because Dean's "fight" with Metatron was the lamest thing EVER and I was like, seriously? What the fuck use is that blade anyway, or are you just a pussy?

It's been so long since I've really been looking forward to what happens next. The writers will probably find some way to fuck it up, but I'm gonna pretend that there will be lots of even more unhealthy brotherly love, with Dean still caring about Sammy but being off the fucking reservation with everyone and everything else, and Sam going to ridiculous lengths to try to 'save' Dean. And lots of fucked up, rough sex. Okay, so that last part's a bit far-fetched, but I can dream!!!!!!!!!! :D
