A/N: This was written for danaid_luv, who asked for a fic about a thousand years ago. She gave me the prompt ‘gay chicken’ and told me ‘this shit writes itself!’

Well, honey, I’m here to tell you that it doesn’t! I’ve read upwards of a hundred gay chicken stories and I love the trope as much as the next perv, but I spent so long thinking of a way I could write it that hasn’t been written to death and ended up with something that missed the mark by light years. Seriously, I got stumped on this, hard, and it stalled my writing pretty much completely.

But I finally managed to pull this out, so I hope you can enjoy it!

I swear, if I ever manage to actually follow a prompt, leprechauns will ride a parade of unicorns over glittery rainbows. With fluffy white kittens in their arms, and fairies dancing around them.
