I wasn't really in a hurry, but I was at the grocery store and the Best Buy is right across the street, so I figured what the hell. I'm gonna buy it at some point, right?
Anyway, I'm looking through the DVDs and I find it for (I think) $63. I think 'wow, that's kind of steep for SPN. And I want the Bluray, so I wonder what that's going to cost me'. Then I realise I'm holding a set of DVDs with a special bonus T-shirt. Which I don't want. So I put it down and pick up one from the rack next to it, without the T-shirt. That one is somewhere in the low $50s..
I put that back down too and then I'm wandering around for a while looking for Blurays. You think they'd be right next to each other, right? No. So I find them and I see they again have two sets - one with a T-shirt, one without. The one with the T-shirt is $89 and the one without was $75.
At this point, I'm thinking the regular DVDs look like a good idea.
And then I see the little sale tags underneath the display. The set without the shirt is on sale for $54. Great! And the set WITH the shirt is on sale for... $47? So anyway, that's obviously the one I bought.
And now I have S6. Yay! And also an extra special bonus T-shirt! That... looks like it might have been made by an eight year old in a Honduran sweatshop for a nickle.
So the reason I'm telling you this, is if you're in Canada and are planning on buying S6 on Bluray and want to save yourself forty bucks (and want a really crappy T-shirt that only comes in size Large), the sale ends on the 15th.
Oh, also, I've already watched 'The French Mistake' commentary. I now think that episode is funnier than I used to and yet I dislike it even more. Huh.
